In 1996 when 20 plus women gathered together for a book club meeting The Essence of Books Book Club was formed. Today more than 13 years later the members of Essence of Books continue not only reading great literary works but also bringing them to life in their monthly meetings through lively discussions, author visits, great tasting cuisine, tears shared in joy and pain, heartfelt laughter, and SISTERHOOD! Thirteen years and counting; some faces may have changed but GOOD BOOKS and SISTERHOOD remain.
